7 days to die pc add points8/24/2023 ![]() You want to be one-shotting the 400-hp boulders asap.īeyond that, take whatever skills you fancy. And also the mining related skills (Miner 69er) since you need to power- gather your Iron as fast as possible to get the workbench mechanic rolling and keep it rolling. Faster Crafting 5/5 is also a *must-have* since you need to craft as fast as possible to fully exploit the workbench mechanic. Personally I maxed pistol, rifle, archery and shotgun perks, plus Health Nut and Heavy Armour immediately. This leaves you literally hundreds and hundreds of spare points, and you can just buy whatever skills you like. Even then, the number of Police zombies that turn up on the average Horde night is usually a sufficient gun part supply to keep all your guns at level 600. In fact there is no need to loot any containers in the game any more, really, other than gun safes. You have 600 level items in every slot where you care about it, so there is no need to waste points in any of these skills that raise loot quality since there is nothing you need. This is to get the workbench ball rolling, once you have the 300s you can stop wasting skill points here and just cheat out level 600 items.ī) Any loot improvement skill (Scavenging, Bartering, Quality Joe, Secret Stash etc). Since you can cheat out level 600 items easily with your workbench, there is no need whatsoever to learn to actually make high level (500+) items yourself!! For each of these skill types that you are interested in, you need spend only a couple of dozen initial skill points so you can make items of level 300-ish. Because you "cheated" all your items to level 600, you can *AVOID* wasting skill points in ALL of the following skills/perks - avoid all of these:Ī) Any crafting/production skill (Armour-smithing, Leather-working, Tool-making, Weapon-smithing, Gun-smithing etc etc). ![]() After you do this, you will have level 600 items for the rest of the game (using the same method to repair your items) in most of the slots you care about.ģ. For guns, it all depends on how many gun parts you have already found and are able to combine using the same mechanic. Multiple workbenches makes it eveen faster. Despite what others may say, it is very easy to get most things you can craft to level 600 with this method, and takes about 2 to 3 days in game dedicated to doing it (on a 3-player server). You can use the workbench to make these level 600 items even though your crafting level is much lower than this. Once you can do this, it is quite easy to spend a few days churning out any and all tools and armours that you are interested in having at level 600. Once you have a workbench, you have access to its ability to combine identical items to produce a new item of higher level than both input items (tee-hee!!!!). There are an infinite number of skill points in the game, though (from books, schematics & challenges) so it's not really that big a deal unless you desperately want to rush a Perk or skill that's locked behind another skill's level :)ġ) Focus all early points into the skills you need to build a workbench.Ģ. OX4 knows the score on workbench and chem station.īarter, Blade, Misc Crafting, Mining, Scavenging, Athletics, Archery, Weapon Making and Construction Tools etc will level themselves easy enough as you go about your daily survival routine so it can seem a waste to put points into those (unless you're trying to rush a Perk level.) Prior to finding or making a cooking pot for the Teas, you'll be drinking Yucca Juice if you saw any scrub or desert, or too busy worrying about Skills and Perks 'cos you're climbing the nearest mountain so that you can look for a desert or scrub ) The food and drink perks aren't really necessary initially IMO, since you're eating Charred Meat and drinking GoldenRod or RedTea aren't you (the meat makes you thirsty, allowing you to consume more 0.2 wellness drink. Secret Stash is good too since you want access to the best gear the Traders have to offer sell those crap quality guns you're looting, sell your eggs, your stone, your ll EVERYTHING to get that Barter skill up so you can buy those luvverly Secret Stash stuffs (Calipers, cement mixers, workbenches as well as purple gun bits.) The Fixer (for repairs), Quicker Crafting (time is also a resource!), Run Forest Run & Sexual TRex (aid Stamina use and Recovery life-saver if get infected or drink dirty water!) are very very useful.
